Service 03 / 05 · Technology & Vendor Advisory

Choose AI technology you can still change.

A persuasive demonstration is not a technology decision. ISOVIA FZCO is a Dubai AI company helping CIOs, CTOs and business sponsors compare models, platforms and suppliers against use case, architecture, data control and operating reality. Implementation support is available only under an agreed additional scope.

Use case, build-buy-hybrid options, trade-offs, decision and exit path: the approved ISOVIA vendor decision diagram.
From a priority use case to a clearer decision route. The five stages below show how people make and record the key decisions. Scroll the diagram horizontally to see the full flow.

Why this decision matters

The problem behind the brief.

The decision is not simply whether to buy or build. A persuasive demonstration can create a long-lived dependency before anyone tests architecture fit, data control, integration effort, operating capacity, commercial exposure and the conditions for changing suppliers.

Illustrative situations · not client case studies

  • 01A procurement team must compare vendor AI claims against real data and workflow boundaries.
  • 02A CIO needs to decide whether to build, buy or combine model and platform capabilities.
  • 03A pilot contract is close to signature but its exit route and integration liabilities are unclear.

Five stages · tailored to the work

How the decision moves forward.

We evaluate AI models, platforms and vendors against the actual use case. Where useful, AI-supported test scenarios and comparisons can expose gaps. The client's owners still review the technical, commercial and security choices. We can advise on implementation and support delivery under a separate scope. This page does not present a proprietary turnkey stack.

    Frame the decision

Separate the business choice from product narrative.

Set outcome, affected users, data boundary, constraints and non-negotiables.

    Decision to be made
Does the sponsor accept the decision and constraints?
    Accountable owner
    Business sponsor
    Possible deliverable
    Decision brief and criteria.
  2. 02 / 05

    Set the evaluation lens

    Agree evidence before scoring.

Define capability, integration, security, data, operating, commercial and exit criteria.

    Decision to be made
Have criteria and evidence requests been accepted?
    Accountable owner
    Technology owner
    Possible deliverable
    Scorecard and diligence plan.
  3. 03 / 05

    Challenge the options

    Make trade-offs and uncertainty visible.

Compare build, buy and hybrid routes across architecture, integration, skills and debt.

    Decision to be made
Is there an evidenced viable option set?

  4. 04 / 05

    Design for portability

    Protect control and exit.

Examine flows, interfaces, configuration, data rights, human oversight and switching triggers.

    Decision to be made
Are data-control and exit conditions explicit?

    Recommend and hand over

    Leave a usable decision paper.

Consolidate trade-offs, residual questions and actions.

    Build/buy/hybrid recommendation and decision record.

Deliverables agreed with you

What you receive.

  • Use-case-specific options assessment covering models, platforms, suppliers and architecture fit.
  • Build/buy/hybrid decision paper with assumptions, trade-offs and recommended direction.
  • Vendor diligence record covering integration, data control and exit considerations.

We agree the deliverables, timing, access and fees before work begins. The items listed here are possible outputs, not a fixed package.

What the work helps you do

Decisions you can act on.

01Leadership can see the rationale behind a technology choice.

02Procurement can evaluate beyond feature lists.

03Delivery teams can identify dependencies before they harden.

The initial offer is options advice, not legal negotiation, an independent security audit or supplier certification. AI implementation may be contracted separately with technical responsibilities, controls and acceptance tests; no supplier performance is guaranteed.

Working together

Start with one decision.

Begin with one live technology or supplier choice. Advisory, proof-of-concept evaluation and implementation support are scoped separately with client access and decisions agreed.

Bring one platform or supplier choice. Let us pressure-test fit, dependencies and exit before commitment.

Executive sponsor

CIO, CTO or technology investment sponsor.

Working participants

Enterprise architects, procurement, product and data owners, security, legal and operations.

What the client brings

  • The use case and decision timeline, including alternatives already under review.
  • Existing architecture, data and supplier constraints.
  • Access to procurement and technical stakeholders for evidence-based comparison.

Do not send confidential or production data through the public contact form. Detailed access is agreed in the engagement.

Governance throughout the work

How Aegis supports the work.

Where useful, Aegis helps connect the use case to its accountable owner, risks, policies, controls, human oversight and evidence. Supporting software or platform components are assessed and demonstrated only in an agreed engagement; this page makes no claim of automatic classification, monitoring or compliance. Common questions

Before we begin.

Do you start with a preferred vendor?

No. The starting point is the use case, constraints and accountable decision; a recommendation records evidence and trade-offs.

Is this a compliance assessment?

No. Governance is considered in context, but counsel determines legal obligations where applicable.

Can we work before a formal procurement request?

Yes. A scoped review can sharpen criteria or identify evidence needed before commitment; the client retains procurement authority.

What happens after the decision?

The client can progress procurement, architecture, governance or delivery through its own team, or separately scope further ISOVIA support.

Editorial review: October 2026. Regulatory applicability should be checked for the individual use case with qualified advisers.

Which AI decision needs to move next?

Start with one use case and the blocked decision. We will establish whether a focused, separately scoped engagement is the right next step.
